Hey, I'M jESSICA!

Since we're getting to know each other please call me Jess. I'm a Kansas City native, dog lover, amateur outdoor enthusiast who is married to my high school sweetheart, loves red lipstick, french fries and is still trying to figure out how in the world I ended up outnumbered by boys.

For as long as I can remember I’ve been fascinated by the way a photo can make me feel. Not to lose you by nerding out too much but... photography is at it's core the art of capturing light and I am captivated by it all. My first camera was a 24 frame Kodak Disposable and I took pictures of anything that inspired me. Those 24 blurry 4x6's were such a treasure. You just never knew what you were going to get and that was half the fun!

Seriously though, for me photography isn't just a hobby or my business, it's something I do everyday to journal my life. As a sudo neurotic perfectionist, boy mom who’s into anything and everything that requires creativity your photos are my photos. My top priority is that you be as obsessed with them as I am. I strive for true colors, connection and gorgeous light in all my sessions.
