How do I know what Session Package is best for me?
Essentials | 30 min |Perfect for families of school aged children, pets and seniors who don't need the extra frills.
Signature | 60 min | Ideal for families of all ages as well as Senior portraits. This session length allows for the combination of candid and posed images.

When is the best time of year to book?
As when booking your session time slot please be aware of your family’s needs in regards to comfort. If extra sensitive to cold avoid booking a session between late October thru late April. If extra sensitive to heat avoid booking a session between Mid July thru Mid September. Your Midwest “Goldilocks” months are May, June and Mid September thru October. This is when the weather conditions are typically at their most mild. Not too hot and not too cold… get it?
When will we receive our gallery?
Expect Gallery delivery up to 4 weeks from your session date. You will receive an email from me with a private link to choose your images. Image downloads are tied to the email address you provide to me. This is to ensure friends and family do not accidentally use your package downloads. From there you may download them straight to your computer or laptop as well as share the link with whomever you like! Please note on average Galleries do expire 30 days from the date they are sent.
How many photos will we receive?
In general you should have 20-50 images to choose from in your gallery. Please remember not all sessions are created equal and sometimes due to circumstances beyond my control, ie cranky kiddos (hey we all have our bad days once in awhile right?) I may not be able to capture "extras". Rest assured you will receive your package minimum and I solemnly swear to do my best. My job is to make you look good and I take that job very seriously!
Can I purchase more images?
I sure do and there's no bigger compliment than you wanting more images. Additional download and print purchase options and information will be found within your gallery.
How much "Photoshopping" is included?
Life happens so in general my rule is I will do my best to edit out anything that would typically go away in a week or two like a blemish, scratch or bruise if requested to your final image choices. Because I truly believe every body is beautiful in it’s own right. Adjustments to bodies, skin or hair are not currently offered.
Do you offer indoor sessions?
Yes I do! At this time I am only able to offer Professional branding sessions and in-home lifestyle sessions indoors.
How do I pay you and what forms of payment do you take?
You are welcome to pay in cash, check, Venmo, Paypal or credit card. All new clients are asked to put forth a non-refundable $50 deposit. Your remaining balance will be due before or on the date of your session.
What is your weather policy?
If a Tornado or Flash Flood watch/warning is in effect or lightning is present in the area during your time frame, your session will be immediately rescheduled to the next available date, no exceptions.
You will have the option* to reschedule if one or more of these conditions are occurring DURING the time of our session:
Precipitation Forecast is 50% chance or higher. Temperature or Wind Chill is 35° F and below. Temperature or Real Feel is 95° F and above. Wind is Gusting at 25 MPH or more (location dependent)
*Rescheduling due to these conditions will be left entirely up to you. I realize that in some situations conflicts may make rescheduling not an option. Please know I am happy to be flexible and make adjustments where I can. Whether it be an alternate location or a new start time.
Session Adjustment Time Lines:
AM Sessions - Final decision will be made the evening prior by 9pm
PM Sessions - Final decision will be made 4 hours prior to start time
Reasons for rescheduling outside of the conditions above may incur a $50 service fee.
We're sick how do I reschedule?
Family emergencies and the sickies happen especially with kiddos. Trust me I know how that is. Of course every situation is different but in general if you must reschedule due to illness or family emergency please let me know via email or text at least 24 hours prior to your session. I can allow only one reschedule date before you will forfeit your session deposit. This will also be true in the event of a cancellation as your deposit is non-refundable.
